In 2007 my husband and I relocated to Greenville North Carolina, the tight-knit community was a great place to raise our 4 boys (heathens). I’ve had many roles during my time in Greenville, from audiology clinical supervisor, to little league coach, school volunteer, and stay at home mom. I’ve served as a board member for local schools and have volunteered with the service league. A small business didn’t seem like too much of a stretch for me, but I’d never thought of running my own business before. In 2014 my husband Ron and I took a trip on our 25th wedding anniversary to Italy, cycling the Tuscan countryside. Here, we had the opportunity to visit an olive farm and try real, fresh crushed extra virgin olive oil for the first time. The older gentleman who owned to farm and his family prepared us an amazing meal born of the fruits of their labor. Inspired by this trip we set our focus on healthy eating and exercise. Olive oil, balsamic, and fine wine became more important to us, leading me to discover 692 Olive, run at the time by Leah. That’s why when I heard she was planning on moving to Florida, I felt compelled purchase the store, focusing on its future growth and development. Now called Simply Divine Oil and Wine we still specialize in high quality oils and balsamics, but we have been growing our wine selection as well and hope to open our own wine bar soon.

Herbs De Provence EVOO
With top notes of lavender, rosemary, savory, thyme, and bay leaf, our all natural Herbs de Provence olive oil is a show stoppe. Perfect herb combination for those who prefer non-garlic flavoring.
Gravenstine Apple White Balsamic
The Gravenstein Apple is an incredibly hard to find varietal due to the difficulty farmers have cultivating it. It’s grown in pockets up the coast of Northern California and is prized for its amazing ambrosia perfume and crisp, sweet-tart cream colored flesh.
Chevalier Bordeaux Superieur
Medium Bodied, a variety of spices, aromas of black fruit and vanilla. Smooth finish.
North By Northwest Chardonnay
freshly poured, corked & sealed!
Frequently Asked Questions
Our oils are sourced from individual farms on a seasonal basis. Half of the year we have Northern Hemisphere crushes and the other half of the year we have Southern Hemisphere crushes. In the North we usually have oils from the U.S, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, and others. For S.A. we usually carry Australian, Chilean, and South African Oils.
Biophenols are the natural antioxidants found in Olive Oils. When we display the Biophenols count of our oils we are telling our customers how many of these antioxidants are present in the oil at the time of crush.
The best way to store your product is going to be at room temperature in a dark place, away from sunlight or heat.
Of course, we host all sorts of events. Give us a call and let us know when you want to come by.
Our oils are seasonal, which means we will only have access to a certain oil for half of the year. The oils also change from year to year depending on the olive crop from that year.
Each bottle is filled with a single oil or balsamic. The two cannot be in the same bottle as it will damage the oils.
Yes, you can. However, you will not be getting fresh, pure, first cold pressed olive oil. You will get a mixture of several different olive oils amalgamated together. Not only does this ruin the flavor of the oil, it also means a lower chemical standard for that oil. Our oil is chemically tested and approved as Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Instead of the regular “olive oil” you can purchase at the store our oils are single origin, with different varietals having different flavors and distinct aromas not found in store bought mixtures.
